Hey, if you guys break off and float out into the Pacific... if you find yourselves near Hawaii, say hello to my uncle for me. 😀

California has no risk of breaking off, it is moving East, not west.
Common misconception in about every earthquake discussion 😛

Yeah, it was a joke... but I'm sure lots of people actually don't realise that.

Well, LA and San Fransisco are moving towards each other, so I believe LA is moving "up".

Sweet! I can visit my cousin up in SF w/out having to drive the 7 hr drive! 😉

And I'm gonna be in SF next week. Better not be any GD quakes, cuz I'm gonna be right on the bay. 😛

Felt in Irvine. I was in class taking a final, ahah. People in class were like OMFG WE'RE IN DANGER, MUST RESCHEDULE FINAL, and the prof just kept reading his magazine and said "we all have to die someday," lol.

Damn, I live in San Diego and I didn't feel a damn thing. My mom called me from the office because she felted it. What was I doing when it happened... I think DDR..

i was working at the Epicenter in Yucaipa when i decided to leave work early . . . it hit 30 minutes later but i didn't feel it on the hwy . . . there were actually 2 quakes the first was 4.9 and a minute late 3.7

letsee, Sunday in Anza 5.2; Tuesday N of SF [Crescent City 7.2 with the tsunami warning] and now today . . . :Q

i got the max Earthquake insurance they will allow 😛

I felt it in the Pasadena area (the san diego one)

I was taking a math test and my water spilled on the corner ... no harm done though ...

it was breaking news on several LA stations that held it over past 11:30.

no details on the quake map yet . . . no tsunami warning

oh yeah . . . off the coast near Eureka

and there is another thread where there was a 3.9 event occurred 86 km (54 miles) W of Petrolia, CA. at 11:38 . . . so i am not really sure about this [other than i saw it on tv]

lotts shaking going on . . . i missed the Yucaipa quake's EPICenter by 1/2 hour . . . i left work early today

Again, i'm glad that i dont live in Cali anymore. Start buying property away from the coast because soon you will have an ocean view.
