Back in October 7th I purchased a Video from a user on Half.com Payed with a Credit Card.

Figured I would have my movie in about 2 or 3 weeks. Well at 4 weeks nothing. So on November 7th I sent feed back to half.com that no movie. They said they would give him two chances to respond he did not. So about 10 days or so later they refunded my $$ I left negative feed back for this person. A while after that this user responded to the negative feed back and said he sent the movie and left a confirmation #. Well low and behold about 2 weeks later the movie showed up. Actually several days after the confirmation said it did.

When the video was received I had no way to contact the seller they were very secretive with e-mail.
I emailed half.com with to find a way to contact them so I could repay them. Nothing. So I emailed again and got a letter that they would not give me this sellers info.

So i figured they would contact me. Well today I get a letter in all capital letters demanding payment of $5.75 or they will file criminal charges with e*ay (did not know they where a law enforcement agency 😛 learn something new every day) they also said they would use the delivery confirmation and file a complaint with the postal inspecters in my city. I contacted them and they said they are a delivery agency and disputes between users are between users not them. Unless I deliberately commited fraud. The fact that I payed first and waited a month and a half for the video is not fraud on my part. I have no problem paying and will write them a check and mail it tomorrow. This person could have used more tact. Will post the letter when I get home.

I know this is only my side but I will invite this person to join anandtech and post their side 🙂

Heck I am just ranting I think this is a big joke.

Kenneth G. I shipped you a new video "xxxxx", from a sale on half.com order date oct. 7, 2002. amount due is $5.75. You cancelled this sale saying "you had not received this item." "that you had to wait to long. (I never said that last part) I have a usps postal delivery confirmation receipt showing this video was delivered. (I got it almost a week after the confirmation said it was delivered?) I should remind you that if payment isn't sent by 02/05/03 (oh my short time frame to send payment) I will file charges with ebay that you haven't paid for your purchase. (I ordered on Oct 7th paid with a CC he confirmed to ebay he shipped on October 9th 😱) I also will file a complaint to the united states postal inspectors office in Spokane, WA you received a refund from half.com (true and I tried twice to contact them and him with no response, he has no e-mail posted either) Now kindly pay me for my video A stamped self-addressed envelope is provided for your payment.

This dude has 9 negetives for late shipment or non receipt of items's I should of read his feedback but only one that had that movie.

I will send his letter a copy of cancelled payment to ebay and the WA state attorney general. He is a business and forgot to put in that part about this letter is an attempt a debt and anyinfo gathered will be used for that purpose 😛

Ok I am done ranting no more from me on this subject 😛
