Another Dell Question

Ok so i got a good deal on a LCD 🙂 i was happy and probably will be when i get it!

So anyways when i bought it - i went to my bank account to make sure everything went fine.. my account had a HOLD of the amount that i just paid for (you know the bank holds it so it knows what goes where and for how much) well today (couple minutes ago) i noticed my hold for Dell was gone, and my money was all back..

Now i thought "crap - they must have stopped my order, or something was wrong"

so i went there and it said "shipped" and i havent been charged..

so my question is - when do they take the money out?

and i have the tracking as well - but it hasnt been updated yet

THey probably released the hold and will probably charge you the next business day (Monday).

hm i thought that too - but usally they do not release it

just like a "its mine and i am not letting go"

also why not take the money out the next business day (that would have been today, i ordered on Thursday)

Don't worry, they're going to take your money. A few places I've ordered things online from have charged(verify the card is good), bank put a hold on that amount, but it wasn't actually charged, money was all there again. Then when the package was confirmed delivered(via signature), money gone.

and stupid - why wait till it is delivered?

with such a bad resellerrating, why even order from them? Who knows... enjoy your monitor (what did you get?)

ok it shipped - left their warehouse - and nothing is taken out.

Same thing happened to me, but after the monitor went to UPS I got charged. They do this incase someone wishes to cancel their order before it has shipped (or change it), so they don't have to worry about refuding money, hassel etc...
