Tell me what you do with your time. Not necessarily on a daily basis but things like movies, books, games, etc.

I spend most of my time watching MSNBC and Bloomberg with a side of documentaries, science shows and related. Also spend a lot of time reading New Scientist, Science News and online science related articles.

Mostly work around the house. Projects for the Summer:

Rework my back yard landscape and grass.
Going to rebuild my old tool shed siding and doors this year. Rebuilt roof and rafters 2 years ago replaced the floor and joist last year.
Then the usual cut grass, maintain vehicles, doctor visits...

I mostly play games / hang out on the computer with friends. Or post on forums :p

I also like to visit my online friends sometimes IRL, and travel to see them.

play poker at the casino 3x/week. Overall, i'm up a few $ per hr.
rest of the time split between mindless surfing the web and stuff i need to do around the house.

probably should do less surfing and more stuff around the house

You invoked my avatar? (Well, OK, I think it's a Musk Ox, and not a Wildebeast, but most people wouldn't know the difference.)

Yes, I am disabled / retired.

Don't do much, day by day. Lots of health problems that make me "lose conciousness" throughout the day.

If you are bored you can take over for me at work and I'll retire. I still get the money though...

My boss had that until he got a CPAP, I'd wager you're experiencing at least some level of sleep apnea, which could easily exacerbate your other conditions.

A chance to work and NOT get paid?

Just FYI, you probably don't want to be a hostage negotiator. ;)

Thank you. I did need a CPAP when i was up around 240lbs. Now I hover around 185-195.

I've been "medically retired" for over 19 years. I watch some TV, surf the internet, tinker with my PC...hang out here or over at "the site which shall not be named," and game a bit. During the warmer months, we spend a couple of hours, 2-3 times per week hanging out on the local beach, often laughing at the stupid tourists getting their cars stuck in the sand...I do yard work when needed, putter around the house doing odd chores/projects.

Day 3668 of retirement. In that time I have bought a house in Las Vegas, sold one in CA. And stopped paying state income tax. And bought a few guns with threaded barrels and a few silencers.

When I finish my new PC I will resume updating my punch card website.

I watch too much recorded TV. And 4-5 hours a day of selected YouTube videos.

Taking my life in my hands and heading to Chicago tomorrow for a few days.

Projects around the new house. Built a coffee bar for the breakfast nook, entertainment center for the family room, will be landscaping the back yard pretty soon. Lighting in several parts of the house to install. Have to rip out the pitiful excuse for a pantry we have and build a proper one. Vent the stupid microwave hood to the outside. May expand the driveway a bit. Rip out all of the shoe molding that some lazy useless half assed hack decided was a good way of covering up a shit job, and replace with something a bit more finished looking.
Then read, surf, maybe build a few custom cabinets.

aren't you supposed to sit on your porch, yell at clouds and yell at people to get off your lawn?

2nd day of retirement. Reading my kindle more, slowly fixing up the house for my daughters wedding shower next month and watching the Dodgers.

I plan to start learning the guitar.

Oh yeah, work on my 1941 truck.
Before I moved I used to play with a few different folks that took up guitar after retiring. Once you have the basics down (all the cowboy chords, more or less) finding an open jam session and playing with people more skilled than you is a great way to continue improving.

Or maybe just a feathery dorg with her russell-face packmate. Note the paw over the top.
