Another Day Another problem...

Usually during gaming i will be playing and my screen will freeze up. I am playing WoW so it's not like the graphics are melting my video card or anything...

In addition to the freezes, i get a lot of device driver type errors, i'm beginning to think that something is wrong with my Video card, because sometimes i do get graphic device driver errors too.

I was wondering if my Hard drive being too hot could cause anything to crash, because i don't have a frontal case fan blowing across my hard drives and sometimes they can get pretty damn hot.

Though, when my screen freezed up earlier this morning the hard drives were stone cold, so i doubt that is causing my computer to lock up.

My components are:

Kv8 max3 mother board (been having some problems with this too)
BFG 6800 GT OC
Raptor Hard drive (think its like 70gb or something)
AMD 64 3000+
Kingston value ram ddr400 512mb(i have 2 sticks of these, but whenever i ran the other stick my system would crash like crazy)

God knows theres a lot of questions in here, but the most important is the most recent with the video freezing up during game play. The crashes used to be inconsistent at best, and i could play for hours without them happening, or maybe every 10 mins, but this freeze seems to happen in densely populated zones, but that's not to say it doesn't happen just out of the blue sometimes as well, where there isn't much going on.

Well i've had this card for like 5 or 6 months now, and i'm pretty sure i'm up to date with the drivers. Honestly this problem happened like over night...Highly confusing... I was using the Nvidia beta drivers, and i'm not sure if i went back to their official ones, but none of this was recently.

Reinstall the nVidia driver, DL the latest from nvidia's website. Boot to SAFE MODE>uninstall old driver>reboot to safe mode>install new driver>reboot to windows normally and pray.

Next step would be to DL the FULL version of DX9.0c end user runtime and reinstall that.
