Another day, another poll Rasmussen shows Trump 43/Hillary 39

Meh, i trust Rasmussen more. Its going to be an interesting few months.

Im actually a Democrat, BTW, just disagree with their gun stance, honestly, everything else has more of an effect on my life.

that's quite interesting since Rasmussen leans conservative and only scores a C+ with 538.

Fox News/Anderson Robbins Research/Shaw & Company Research received a solid A and actually lean slightly left.

Not sure why anyone thinks "Voting for chaos" is a good thing.

Maybe people feel so fucked over they don't care. What stake in the future does the average person have. What pride can he or she have in building a future. They have been fucked by the 1%. Time to return the favor.

Honestly, I liked Sanders quite a bit, someone much like him will be elected in the near future, as soon as enough of the boomers die off, but it'll be too late by then. IMHO, the youth need to get off their assets and vote, this stuff really affects them so much more and longer than older voters.

Tell that to someone on SS & Medicare.

I agree with this Moonbeam and I think you have hit this nail true many times over regarding the current electorate. For whatever reason, many don't seem to understand or accept this perspective as the reality of what many are feeling right now...whether they have a legitimate cause to feel this way, or it is simply delusional perception without a real perspective (younguns that never actually went through real hard times), it is a feeling that is real enough to matter in the minds of the electorate.

I, however, do not see such cause as a reason to vote for a megalomaniacal self-serving circus clown like Donald Trump. The man is a disgusting beast of subhuman filth and merely understanding that sentiment among certain groups of people and tapping into it for support does not qualify one as capable of improving things for those people.

That is, in a nutshell, the premise of his platform: "I get how you are feeling, so vote for me because I am awesome."

That's it. That is all he is saying, and nothing more.

Why the fuck aren't you running for president, moonbeam? You are every bit as qualified and, frankly, far more intelligent than Mr trump.

Are we going to get a new thread for every poll until election day?

Yes, yes we are. We need the polls to prove that our guy/gal won today. I assume that if we had access to the information, we'd argue about which produced the better bowel movement that day.

As politics moves further into the realm of team sports, we're going to start seeing daily stats. Things like, the loudest speech, best hair, most consistent spray tan, lies told, and unverifiable facts sited. They'll be on our tv screens like the stats during a baseball game. We'll be able to prove to ourselves every single day that our guy/gal is winning. Winning is everything.

It seems only the extreme polls will be posted each day. At least a half dozen polls came out today, and only the most extreme anti-Clinton poll was posted. The same will happen with extreme anti-Trump polls.

Now that is a horrifying thought..... D:

Well said.

What you are ignoring is that Hillary is exactly the same, only with a vagina.

And I too would totally vote for Moonbeam. Or Sonikku - if we're going to make this a novelty election, then let's go trans. Screw this electing the first woman or the first poofy-haired non-politician billionaire, if you're gonna be a bear, be a grizzly.

Better someone honest with a good soul, integrity and a sense of humor than someone with long experience making bad decisions in government or amassing a personal fortune in business. Integrity should always be qualification #1, and neither major party candidate has an ounce of it.

Well said. Although if all that comes to be, then we'll be arguing over whether or not Trump should have been disqualified for his incredibly even spray tan being orange.
