You should try some whiskey. I hear Joshua Brook sold by the pint is pretty good. Inexpensive also.

Yeah I know but I wanted to give it a try. I've previously tried Smirnoff (not good straight) and Iceberg which is very good straight vodka. I'll have to save up and get me some Grey Goose soon.

Again I recommend the Iceberg to anyone wanting to try come straight vodka!

This is a 750 ml bottle. Let's see if I can keep myself from drinking 3/4 of it tonight this time. Last time I drank a bottle of St Remy brandy, yumm that was good going down... not so good coming up...

I keep hearing good things about costco's kirkland stuff but haven't tried it yet. I always pick up the belvedere when I'm in the mood instead. Is it any good?

Absolut is decent, and more of a vodka than that french water Grey Goose. But if you're drinking vodka, go Russian or go home.

I've gotta argue that Grey Goose is better than Absolut. I'm not sure what you mean by french water, aren't GNS (like vodka) supposed to (most often) be devoid of taste? Of course, there's always the slight differences associated with what kind of starch from which the vodka is made.

Cant stand favored vodka. I'll stick with my monarch vodka since it gets the job done and it is cheap :)

That's the one I was thinking of. An ex and I bought a bottle because it was cheap and had awards stickers on it. We were surprised by its suckiness, though, and never ended up finishing it. It kind of sat in my house for a while and was the crappy vodka that the roommates were allowed to drink, but didn't because it sucked so much.

I think I finally finished that bottle after breaking up with that gf and being depressed. Heh, nothing lowers alcohol standards like a bad breakup and a bottle in the house.
