my computer is locking up on large file transfers to the c drive from either cd or a network drive.
this machine ran finefor 3 weeks, i upgraded the via drivers and it still ran fine but then developed the lockup problem with large file transfers. i have looked at this forum for over a week searching for a possible solution but so far no luck.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

i have a soltek motherboard sl-75drv5
256 meg samsung ram pc2700
western digital hard drive 120 gig 8 meg cache
nvidia mx2
1 mhz duron

The reason for newer updates is to cure bugs but sometimes new ones are created...? (100% compatible "Yea Right" )
