Curious...Anyone have any experience with the "Norwood" 17" LCD monitor ? Haven't heard of the brand before.

Hmm, thinking about buying the maxtor drive for a Tivo upgrade.

thanks Allisolm for the heads up.

I never heard of Norwood either. However, that monitor is the one that I am using right now. It is great for the price, but the stand can be a little bit bouncy. If you are not using it for games than it is pretty good.

Got both my rebates on the Olevia 27" HDTV special 2 months ago. $200 from Olevia and $100 from CompUSA.

anyone have that Maxtor 200GB drive?
Seems like a deal w/o rebates.

comments, especially regarding noise, would be appreciated

also, I notice they also have a lexar 1GB SD card for $70, which seems good

Darn, the 1GB CF is only 4X. Probably not fast enough to use with my Canon Rebel. :disgust: Thanks for the post..

It's the drive i'm using now. I bought it from Microcenter a couple of months ago for $60 AR, so this is a great deal if you don't like waiting for rebates. I had to take back the first one due to it being faulty, but have had no problems at all with the second one, it has been very stable!

Hope this helps

I've been pretty happy with CompUSA the past six months or so. All of my rebates have come in (slowly), better product selection and prices, and even the employees seem more knowledgable. This of course is in comparision to Best Buy - but it is still an improvement.

Fry's had the 27" LCD TV on clearance for $699 no rebates. That deal was hotter but $699 AR is still nice.

How could it be an aspect ratio of 4:3 with a resolution of 1280x1024?

5:4 probably confuses people.

How could it be an aspect ratio of 4:3 with a resolution of 1280x1024?

Motorola wireless stuff is a pretty good deal, they're all AES capable (more secure). Of course I already stocked up on them last fall so I think I'll pass this time around.

I've got a 10D and the best memory in the SanDisk Ultra II. Very fast, especially for the .RAW files
