Well, it's still summer time so there isn't school the next day. No ID needed so they weren't serving alcohol and it was at a sanctioned business, not just a sleazy impromptu street party thrown by some weirdos.

Adults shot the place up when the kids were being let out after the party.

The fact that they needed to give the kids a safe place to have a good time implies its likely in a high crime area. Add in that the leading cause of death for black males 18-25 is murder by other blacks, and you get the answer.

Black people killing black people in a high crime area. Kinda a shit puzzle to solve though. I dont feel like I am a winner.

I had the same thought but I guess its not relevant.
I did hear the club had multiple security guards and some were armed (I think the armed ones were off duty or retired cops but I'm not sure)

I'm not trying to bust balls and I agree it's weird that a teen club is open that late what's your point? I know you're not saying its the kids fault are you saying the Parents share some blame for letting teens out that late?

In some poor communities, random locals set up parties to try to make money. They are usually pretty dangerous and can get out of hand. This didn't seem to have any issues during the event, it was after when the parents were picking up their kids.

Fwiw, I wouldn't want my kid to go to one of these.

While I'm not a BLM expert they are against Police shootings so unless the shooter was a an on duty cop I'd guess they'd be somewhere else.
