If any of you missed your opportunity to get a JamCam for $20, here?s another place. Target.com and Target B&Ms (at least the one near me) has them for $49.99. This is their regular price as far as I know. Take off the $30 dollar rebate, and that ends up to be just over $20. I emailed JamCam and they verified that Target was indeed a participating retailer for the rebate.

These are really cheap-o cameras. I purchased one from eToys as it went out of business for about $20. Certainly isn't worth much more than that. If you want a cheapie for the kids to play with or to keep in the glovebox of the car or something, then give it a shot, but it isn't a substitute for a decent quality digital camera.

The JamCam won't work under Win2K (unless they recently released software for it) - Win 95/98 or Mac OS 8.5x+ only. It is expandable via 'MultiMediaCard' media. This is NOT SmartMedia or CompactFlash. It has room for about 8 snapshots at highest resolution of 640x480 on the built-in memory.
