I have no hate for Israel, you won't find any condemnation of actions that Israel has committed to defend Israel, nor will you find condemnations for genuine politics or the will of the majority of Israel, you won't find any condemnation of the actions purported by Israel when it comes to Israeli territory either. There are some others as well. After the Ayatollah issued his fatwa against Salmon Rushdie calling for his assassination, apparently some booksellers and shopkeepers who carried his book were severely injured and some were killed. So far as Rushdie himself, Hezbollah, following the fatwa, attempted to assassinate him, but the bomb maker blew himself up instead by accident.

That said, the number of actual carried out killings versus threats has not been that high. Still, the threats themselves are a major problem in that they seriously chill free expression, maybe worse even than censorship laws. No one should have to live in fear because of something they wrote in a book or cartoon.

Even non NATO nations went to war in Afghanistan for US's sake and the UK even joined in Iraq, in fact, the first team on the ground in both nations was a British team.

So if there is a war, EVER that the UK gets involved in, i would expect the US to stand behind us, perhpas repay the favors and send their troops in first?
