That amp is a "piece." And no, you can run multiple subs off the BP600.1 because it is stable down to 1 ohm. You can wire multiple subs together so that their total load on the amp is within its spec. Very easy with two Kappa Perfects... Don't buy pyramid.

no mmats or Orion recommendations?
what kinda box are you running?

Please, do yourself a favour, and don't waste your money on a Pyramid.
I saw a model that was a couple years old ("800" watt) that couldn't push my 10inch Orion XTr in a Bandpass as hard as my Kicker Impulse 352xi (35x2, 100x1 RMS).
Any low wattage brand name will be better than a Pyramid.

What Vip said - Pyramid is crap

And like stated above, the JBL BP600.1 can definetly push more than one sub. It says 600w x 1 on their site but that's total power output. (I have one and can attest to them pushing more than one sub)

Well again I think his range is like $200.00.

:)

What would you recommend then? Needs to be 2 channel so he doesn't have to play the 2 ohm game at the sound of $200.00.

I was asking about amps awhile back and Rockford fosgate amps seemed to have high recommendations if you dont want competition loudness. Look on e bay for punch amps cheap

well, I'm just starting up (as you can tell by how stupid my posts have been in this thread). Anyways, I was thinking about putting the subs in their own individual bandpass box, but that'll all depend on how much room I will have in my truck, but most likely it'll be a sealed box.

hpkeeper, 2 single boxes will perform the same as 1 double box. Sealed will require less trunk space, and will reproduce bass more cleanly (you'll be able to differentiate the frequencies rather than a dominant buzz).

The reason for the split boxes is lack of space in the cab. I guess sealed seperate is the way to go.

Arc amps are smooth...you can't go wrong. I have (1) 2500CXL driving a Rainbow Pro 3 way component set, and another 2500CXL on (3) JL 10W6's.
