Another BX Coppermine question HELP!!!!

I have a WS440BX mobo currently running a PIII 500. Can I run a slocket and a 100Mhz bus CuMine on this board? Gateway tells me I can't run a CuMine period, but they don't say why (Shocking huh?, I should cut in the response I got from Gateway, I could have asked somebody at the Grocery Store and gotten a more intelligent answer) Anyway, Is it probably a voltage issue that they are talking about, and if so, will a slocket fix this?
