Another auto vid: Supra vs. Mustang

I've ridden in a 67 and a 68, and I find them very comfortable. Even when I'm used to riding in my mom's Lincoln TownCar, I think the vintage Stang is comfortable. I still would take the Mustang.

WELL NO SH!T THAT SUPRA WASTED THE MUSTANG... it's a MustangCoupe. Those suck ass, stock. Even with the 5.0 302, they're crappy unless you do some modifications on 'em.
Technically, yes, it is a Mustang. But it is a car that is not worth of the Mustang name!

Yeah they probably are...
Nevertheless, that is the one and only car that I have wanted since I first saw one 🙂

Import sports cars usually are expensive to maintain.. I'm probably gonna be finding that out soon about my 95 3000GT :|

"i heard they are expensive to maintain though, any truth to that? "

I have one (96 Supra Turbo) and it's not at all expensive to maintain. I love it.

<< I'll take a mint condition vintage Mustang over a Supra any day >>

the vintage part sounds appealing, depending on how old it is.

The 2001 Supra is also uncomfortable, as is the Acura NSX, etc.

Edit

Doh! what was I thinking? I meant 2001 Celica. (The NSX was from 1990 I believe.) But the old Supras weren't that comfortable either. But then again I'm comparing to luxury sedans.

i'd love to see those K-cars spanking the pants off of people, but that whole site is in )&@!#$)(*@#$@$@#()$*@#) $@# REAL MEDIA!!! I HATE REAL MEDIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The best part of the video was when the guys behind the video busted out laughing 😀

My friend has a Special Edition Surpa TT. Now, I am no pro auto critic, but even when the car revs high, I really can't feel the boost. The boost in my 300zx TT seems a lot more profound, even though I am supposed to be 20hp less. What I will give that car is it's handling - it is AWESOME. Even when I put my handling in sports mode, it doesn't even compare to his cars handling.

Anyhow, my friend also owned a Mustang GT. The GT was much faster off the line. So, the Supra is nothing special, unless it's a Paisley Racing Supra. Their car can do an 8 second quarter mile.

<< but even when the car revs high, I really can't feel the boost. >>

That's good, you don't want the turbos to spin up late. This probably means that the turbos are spinning up really early which means a beefier torque curve.
