Another another new build what should i get

Here is what I have accumulated so far:
PSU: Corsair CMPSU-400CX 400-Watt CX Series
MEM: Corsair 2x2GB DDR3
CPU: Intel i5-760
GRAPHICS: EVGA GT240 512DDR5
HDD: Samsung 2x320GB

This is for home. Mostly downloading large files, video editing, no gaming.

Was thinking of going with micro-ATX board to keep size down. So am looking for suggestions there and a case.

I live abroad and may not be able to find all suggestions.

So you're just looking for a mobo and case, correct?

The EVGA P55V 120-LF-E651-TR (boy, what a mouthful) is a good cheap board a $75, but if you can't find that, the GA-P55M-UD2 is the old standby and since it's a Gigabyte, should be available most anywhere.

As for case, there are a ton of good MicroATX ones out there. Silverstone's are always nice, if a bit pricey. The Antec New Solution series are good as well (if you dig the aesthetic. Cases vary a ton in different markets though, so you might want to look locally.

Some of the questions from the sticky still apply to this "part-build", such as budget & locality (for pricing and purchasing).

Do you have any preferences for the case such as fans, window, LEDs etc?

Sorry for the faux pas.

Looking for small case with good ventilation as I live in a hot region. This is to replace an aging Shuttle. No LED or window required.

Yes, MB and case. Have seen the Gigabyte H55M USB3 for about $117. If not mistaken the UD2 goes for about $105. Was figuring to get a board with USB 3.0, though. Other boards are around but the GB and Asus are the most common. There is an array of oddball cases. Have to ask for the better names so need suggestions here. Don't need one with PSU but if that is my only choice can yank it and try to sell.

Have just returned from the local computer supermarket called Pantip Plaza. Here is what I've found for case and MB options.

MB with USB3: Asus P7-H55M/USB3 approx $109
Gigabyte GA H55M/USB3 approx $115

CASES: Coolermaster Elite 360 approx $30. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811119195

I would appreciate any comments on these items. Any real difference between the 2 MBs?

The one case that might fit the best is the SG02. The other 2 could work but not as well.

The SG02 is a good case, and it uses full-height expansion cards, so you should be OK there.

I'm not seeing a P7H55-M/USB3 being available on Newegg, but I do see a P7H55M/USB3. That is an ATX board, so make sure that the board you are getting is MicroATX. Overall I think the Gigabyte and ASUS boards are very similar.

Leaning towards the SG02 and the Gigabyte board. I am still a little concerned about the beeping issue with the GB. Anyone with some enlightening thoughts?

Thanks Mfenn. That's about what I thought, so went ahead with the Gigabyte. Also got the Silverstone SG02. Now the assembly begins.
