You're right, of course. I dunno, I simply find it very disturbing that cheesedicks like this exist. Maybe it's because I'm young and impetous and most of you in this forum are a little more mellow about this sort of thing. What some of you are missing is the reason for the sanctuary policy in the first place.
It's because Reagan and the criminal Republicans in power were launching illegal wars in central America, which was creating lots of political refugees, and the more compassionate cities in the country gave sanctuary to the refugees, as well they should.

Now that the wars in Central America are over, these cities should remove the sanctuary status.

This doesn't excuse the fact that this was all caused by right-wing foreign policy.
