Im building a new system for gaming and just wondering if i should try out the 64 3000+ or overclock a p.4 to save some money? and if i do get a pentium 4. which one!?
 
The 3000+ performs great, awesome choice IMO. If you want to try your hand at OCing a P4, almost all the models have been hitting good speeds. I.E. 2.4C, 2.6C, 2.8C. You can pick up a 2.8C for about the same price as a 3000+ I belive.

(made it sound like a flame to fit in) Go with what your gut instinct wants to buy...wanna spend more, get an a64, if not grab a p4....and if you wanna save even more and dump a larger amount of $ in a video card, grab a 2500+ Athlon XP and an nforce2 ultra board, 512 pc3200 and you're set
