Umm, sorry, but you cheated. I got to 80 and had 11 full nature + one partial. Youre claiming 16 with one partial. BS. Thats one full tower via wave. No way. Plus, youre using nonplaying areas.

At 80, you probably lost by letting one or two through for a few levels. At 84/85 you lose the level after the first guy gets through as your defenses just get overwhelmed by health increases. There is quite a bit of extra cash from killing all 10 guys over those few levels. Also, noone has determined whether or not there is a bonus for killing fast and your strategy doesn't kill fast.

Dude, you can't put guys at the top like that - the game doesn't give you room there without modifying it.

83 is still the maximum, as discovered by M4H (and successfully copied by but not improved upon by me) without modifying the game.

Putting towers above the entrance is modifying the game...that's not how it was originally meant to be played.

On another note, I've only been able to get 83 as well...using variations on the same idea as M4H.
 
Max lvl was 81 so far. It is rough, and I too have decided its impossible to fully upgrade the flower.

I wonder about the reasoning of using the lightening as well.

83 is it? I've hit 83 a couple of times. I guess I can quit trying now.
 
LOL DAMN. I got the hacked version because I was tired at maxing around 82 or so and I hit level 166. Dude, this is freaking impossible. By that time you can have a screen full of nature towers and you're still screwed =/
 
Why does it look like my screen doesn't let me place flower towers above the spawn point? was the version rev.ed since those screenshots were taken?

Not only that, but if the dot the tower is shooting at happens to die before the tower hits it, it can hit the next in line. If it's shooting at an angle it'll miss.

You're right...it's not hacking it...it's just altering the game from the way the original creator meant it to be played. Not hacking...just cheating.
