Ok, I don't know why, but I've been researching people's 3d marks throughout the forums and everyone seems to be better than me. I have a p4 2.4 ghz, Radeon 9700 pro(look at numbers, do they seem low to you?), 512 PC3200 RAM, and Cornea MP503 LCD. Does your monitor lower your score? How can I get this score to the normal range?(All my info is in my sig) Thanks.

I don't know 2k3 but the 2k1 numbers don't seem too bad.. they are a little low, but it's not as bad as you normally see.. not sure why they'd only be down a little. i wouldn't worry. do other games work ok?

your 2k3 number seems to be fairly on par.. compare your system with other "exact cpu & gpu specs"

here's my specs and score:

3978

athlon 2000
512 pc 2700
radeon 9700np
(no o/c)

p.s. no moniter has no effect

Well I just figured out, my Radeon 9700 pro is running lower than usual, it runs at 297/263 instead of 325/310...

yep you do not have a 'pro'.

that is a powercolor radeon 9700 pro 'lite' (sold as 9700 gold?) or a dell 9700 TX.

if you actually paid for a pro i'd rma that puppy. i actually had that same problem, some jerk passed me off one of these as a pro on ebay and it took awhile to get everything set straight. in the end i got a good deal on a retail ati radeon 9700 pro. from my experience this card ran like absolute crap.

there's a few threads over at the rage3d boards about this. you can also verify on ati.com using the bios and or serial to show you that it's not a 'pro'.
