Another 2GB memory question

First of all, I read all the 2GB posts everywhere on the net, but couldn?t find anything useful for socket 754. I have Asus K8N and 3400+ Newcastle stable @ 2.7 GHz (10.5x257) with 1GB of corsair value select @ 208 MHz. My motherboard has 3 memory slots, and if I use all three, I have to run memory with 133 divider and 2T. In that case the best overclock that I can get is 9x296 with 133 divider and 2T, which puts memory at 190mhz. Anything more than 190mhz makes the system unstable, so not only the memory is slower and at 2T, but the cpu is slower too.

So it seems that I?m limited to 2X1GB, if I want 2GB at DDR400 according to my motherboard manual; however, from what I?ve understood 1T and 2T commands are depending on the memory controller on the chip, in my case a Newcastle core.

So here are my three questions;
1. Is the 190mhz limit on the 3X512 memory because of the motherboard or the cpu?
2. Will two memory sticks run at DDR400 no matter the size of the memory sticks?
3. Is 1T guaranteed with 2x1GB memory sticks?

Thank you in advance

Thank you and yes I have read that thread many times :).

I guess my question wasn't clear enough. I'm just trying to justify the memory upgrade to 2GB and keep my computer for one more year at least.

I'm going to do some tests with 1T and 2T and post the results in a couple of hours. What test should I use? I'm going to do super pi, 3dmark03, 05 and pcmark04.

Edit: It should be fair to run tests in maximum overclock for each configuration. Any suggestion?
