I'm sure she was a very sad person, and I feel sorry for her family.

On the other hand I have no qualms ridiculing a selfish little bitch like that. Survival of the fittest and she obviously wasn't so she saved the universe some time.

If she died in a car crash I would not say anything about her, but suicide is 100% the most selfish thing a person can do. That type of person doesn't deserve your sympathy and will get none of mine.

The problem is, she was a child. Period.

Legally, biologically, and from a common sense standpoint, her actions and decisions on something like this cannot and should not be judged the same as that of an adult.

Well I know getting your sympathy is everyone's goal in this world but how about just having a little class for your own sake. Is your own dignity really worth posting shit like this?

That's such a tired, self-centered line. Think about it; if a person is in so much pain they think that the best or perhaps only way out is to off them self, you're more worried about how it affects you? Or do you profess to understand how the relatives and friends feel about the person and their "solution"?

I love how when a white person commits suicide over nude pics, the public goes bazik and get rowdy, but if a Hispanic, African american or an Asian commits suicide its not that big of a deal. I'm just saying that deep down, white still have a little bit of racism left in them. Not trying to flame but that's what I've noticed as a kid. I know that this is a big deal, but she did brought this upon herself. She gave away nudes to strangers. That's her fault. Was she baited? Possibly. This is the beginning/realization of the people that cyber bullying is worse than regular bullying.

Typical response from a young person with no empathy or life experience. Read it a million times, makes as much sense now as the first time.

I don't understand why she didn't just quit using Facebook, or delete her old account and start a new one with new friends in the new city she moved to. Anyway, it's stupid to kill yourself over stuff that happens on the Internet. So someone talked her into showing her boobs, big deal. The cruelty her fellow students displayed was extreme, even for teenagers. Apparently this chick was pretty hot, she looked decent in the video at least. People will ultimately forgive almost anything a hot person does, so I'm thinking there's more to it than what we know. Where the fuck were her parents?

The worst part of this is that we have a hot chick who made a minor mistake that would have basically faded into the background over time, and she killed herself over it. I have trouble feeling pity for hot chicks though. They never have it bad for very long. If she had given it another month she probably would have had a new boyfriend and a better outlook on life. Instead she killed herself because she couldn't detach herself from fucking Facebook of all things. It's so weird to me that some teenagers coming up now don't see Facebook as a voluntary thing. That means that even if everything going on in Facebook is negative, they keep going back for more punishment.

I don't use or care about facebook either and sense the same thing from some people, as if I'm living 'off the grid.'

I do see the addiction capabilities tho, given how checking email frequently already has it's tentacles in the days agenda.

How do you disallow facebook? A person can only control the computers they own, and computers are ubiquitous. A "ban" of facebook would only make them /feel/ like they were doing something, not actually doing something. Sounds a lot like US laws when you get down to it. Style over substance.

Those were worse than a politician simply trying to appear they're working. Those were pure corruption. They were trying to pass laws bought by their masters, and it isn't over yet. Instead of loading them into a single law as they tried, they'll try to spread it out over several bills to obfuscate the goal, and wear down the competition.

The man's 32 and working as a sales clerk at a clothing store. I think I can see what the problem is here.

Would your tune be different if this happened to your daughter?

Moot. I doubt Amanda's parents brought her up to end up in this situation.

Actually I think they did. I know not everyone can protect their daughters or sons from the legitimate evils of the internet but if she attempted suicide once, you have to know that she may try again. You're suppose to take away the root cause. The root cause was Facebook. They should have made her not get on anymore or at least until she is stable enough.
