I can't wait for the end of this administration. :disgust:
(Great; I've just annoyed the Republicans on this board and am therefore a criminal.)

Am I the only person who thinks this could actually be a great bill? I think the jest of it was aimed at the spammers, making what they do illegal. While as an individual you still won't be able to do anything about it, this gives law enforcement legal ground to attack spammers.

Just when you think his presidency can't make the country any worse or more stupid, he proves you wrong.

I really don't think it was his fault...
I hate the way bills/laws are passed by congress...
They package crap together and stick stupid things that should never pass into other legislation that *MUST* pass.
i.e. Suppose aliens landed on Earth tomorrow. We don't have any laws prohibiting the killing of aliens, so congress passes a bill that says something like this:
"It is illegal to kill aliens."
But, buried 5 pages into the bill,
And we'll spend 5 billion to build a park in Congressman Bob's hometown
And we'll spend 3 billion to protect a stream that has some rare fish
And we'll spank anyone who forwards unwanted emails.
If someone votes no to the bill, because of the other three things stuck into it, politics being politics, it gets announce that the person who voted no supports the killing of aliens.

Excellent look at the dismal affair that is the government. Whatever happend to distinct resolutions that have to be passed individually. The congressman are there to do their job, so stop this bundling crap and vote 1 at the time. Make them earn their salary 🙂

And as a bonus, we'll be able to hitch a generator up to george washington's spinning corpse and solve the nations energy problems.
