I've seen this a few times and I have to say something. Have you ever seen somebody at a computer put in their username, their password, then move their hand to the mouse to click submit or login? Holy crap it just hits me the wrong freaking way if anything ever did. HIT ENTER PLEASE. It's like putting in http:// first before hitting a web site, thankfully something we don't have to do anymore and most people know better than to do.

Can't say that bothers me. Though I've used sites where enter wouldn't work so you have to click. Dell comes to mind. Now that is annoying.

I have to do this at work. Tab/enter are disabled on the program we use to login.

OK i will give you that.

Don't get me started on gas pumps that have removed the ability to pump themselves. Of course, I stuff the handle with my wallet or gas cap anyway, but DAMN.

I really hate odd numbers, especially if it has anything to do with computers. I won't have an odd number of sticks of RAM, HDD's..anything. There also cannot only be blinky things on one side of my monitor. The router has to go on one side and the modem on the other. I had speakers that had an LED but I replaced those because there wasn't anything to balance them out.

I also buy all one kind of socks. I buy all new ones twice a year. Short during summer, long during winter.

Or when people click on the "X" to close a program.... it's like they don't know what Alt+F4 is for.

it's really fine because you'd be moving your hand to the mouse after you pressed enter anyways

I was thinking that, it's awesome! It is in IE now, too, though, but it goes to bing.

I still prefer that they be separated. I like knowing that anything I type into the address bar is related to sites I have visited, while search is off-shored to Google. Maybe my opinion will change over time.
