I am hosting an original Unreal Tournament (patch 436) server for anyone who would like to use it.

Don't expect miracles here. I used what parts I had laying around.

Server Rig specs:
AMD Athlon 1100 cpu (200 FSB)
PC Chips m810LMR mother board
384 megs PC133 ram
4.3 gig hdd
Cable modem 1.5 mbps Download 192 kbps Upload

I have it set to 8 players.

Maybe later I will add a UT2003 server.

It is behind my firewall.

It will be running 24hrs/day. 🙂
 
i'll be hitting up this server after my finals are over.....

almost......done.....must.....keep.....going....................
 
Damnit:

Package DE Version Mismatch .. something to do with the DE Bonus Pack I'm guessing (which I should have installed)... how do I fix this ? Can't get in.

This is how you fix it:

cut your de.u file in your ut\system folder. place the file in a different folder and try again. the server will re-send the file, a working one.

Usually it is in the form: ip address:Port

 
Don't have UT installed anymore but I'm running a UT2003 CTF server called Banandtech off topic (you can find it in the server browser, it's advertised)

maps: CTF-Painbender, Citadel..and a few others I can't remember the names of.

You are using the wrong IP.

24.112.13.165 the port 7777 is the standard port for the game. Same as port 80 is standard for web browsing.

don't worry about typing in the port. just tell it to open a location and type the ip addy.

I'll try it again tomarrow.

I thought I had it installed but didn't.
I installed it and it's not running well, so I'll reinstall it tomarrow and try it again.

I never had 8 people at once play.

most I have had was 3 not including the bots. It played quite well, but it does have limitations.

I made this server for a learning experience as well as to entertain those on ATOT by offering a trusted server.

So it is no T1 line, but, hey its free. I ask for NO donations or anything.

Just like to see people having fun.

I used to be on clan (PDX), but I haven't played in a LOOONG time.
