In my view if it works it's good lol. I mean its not like I show anything off. My case is always closed. I'm more interested in using my build than being ocd.

Yeah lol when I built this, the maximise v gene was the best motherboard in the $200 price range. It just happened to be mATX

I gamed on a X2 5200+ and 9600GT for 2 years, and they're pretty much the perfect pair. It would be a bit more than twice as fast as your GT610. Runs on a Dell 305W PSU, so yours shouldn't be a problem. $30 is a good price for one.

I'd give you mine, but I broke the fan on my 6770 twice trying to re-seat the heatsink (the darned XFX mounting system just will NOT let me make good contact) so I'm back to using it until I get enough patience back to glue that thing back together for a third time.

LOL I'm using Thor's Hammer on my Ivy Bridge 3570K @ 4.4GHz - it already hit a wall there, and cannot do 4.5GHz completely stable without making whea errors, even though the heatpipes are completely cool with barely any heat coming out of the heatsink ( I tried reseating it several times, pressing very hard on the IHS of the CPU, etc.., using different application methods, etc.. but I'm not going to bother with delidding the IHS this time around) - I think I got a bad chip or perhaps it was just lousy contact between the silicon and the IHS. Still, Thor's Hammer is a treasure for me to behold!

I've been waiting hoping to borrow a camera, but it doesn't look like that's happening so I used the camera on my 7 yr old cell phone. No I don't own a computer desk, yes that is a dresser. Better than being on the floor (old ironing board on my lap for keyboard/mouse). Yes, this computer used to belong to THE CUP MASTER (I defeated him and took it as a prize).

I was thinking of posting up my Barton 2500/9800 PRO system...but it's not really my main rig and isn't connected to the net. Now before you say "HA! YOUR SYSTEM SUCKS TO MUCH FOR MY GLORIOUS VIDEO CARDS!" I have potential access to an AM3 system...but its video card is toast (512MB 4850 with fried VRMs and such). I built it for a friend years ago but now it is sitting collecting dust (I live in his basement...amazing what things I found down here). He is going to school and just got a Y500 SLI gaming laptop. This system is currently in a max fan Antec 300 with a Gigabyte MA790GPT-UD3H MOBO a PhII X3-720 CPU and 2x2GB DDR3. It supports unlocking and the 6 core chips (could get one for ~$85) and has an old Corsair HX 520w PSU.

Basically it needs some work, but a free GTX670 would be the largest piece of the puzzle.
Id love to enjoy many of the games from the last half decade (I do own several of the more popular titles...but haven't been able to play them yet, even the turn based Civ5 is to slow). I've got a 72-85Hz 1920x1440 CRT just begging to get used...and I think I could finally move to Win7 64bit.

Now if none of that goes over, can I qualify for the STEAM drawing LawLz?!

Wow...you are really generous and very cool, man. You've inspired me! Maybe I'll find a way to give away my last HTPC innards. I'm all set on a graphics card as I already have a 7950 (switching it out soon) but I may enter the contest tonight for the Steam hookup. Just wanted to give you some props in the mean time.

It's true. I'm so broke I couldn't afford rent this past month and had to borrow $400... and to pay part of it back, I sold my GTX 670 and a few other possessions. You know, friends of poor people generally don't have money either and want their $400 back.

And to take my mind off of all the stress and worrying of money... I play video games. Or, well, I used to. 😛 I think if I won, I'd play through the entire Mass Effect Trilogy in one sitting on complete Renegade. And then let the galaxy die. Because I am feeling vengeful.

Well, makes the odds of winning pretty good for those that did enter.

Where else are you going to find odds like this for the kind of hardware being given away ?

So yeah I'd love alot more people to enter, but then inherintly there are more people who don't win anything at all. So a happy medium sounds good to me
