Thanks again to Annisman for doing this.

Awesome, that was so awesome of you Annisman!!!

Now, we all need to follow the example, and do the same thing!

Haha, except, not really. 😀

Haha, except, not really. 😀

Not really, what?!? ^_^ :awe: ()🙂

Seriously, man - we need to do the same thing you did!

Fine, I should try something myself????

I'm just extremely busy right now, and I'm trying to build new rigs right now.... it's difficult for me now. Maybe if the bitcoin value continues going up exponentially, then I'll do the exact same thing (giving away over $800 worth).

It's real awesome of you. I like the inspiration. This is morally valuable, and should be remembered well, and not gone by unnoticed. We're all human beings, and this is a truly good example for us.

I'm humbled, but a truly awesome thing would be to would sell the cards instead and give the money to the local shelter or my church for example. This is more 'showy' and 'fun' though and it's why I do it. There are so many other things that are much more morally valuable imo, that don't get noticed.

Darn, looks like I missed out. If only I had started checking Anandtech's forums out sooner rather than just sticking with the main site. Oh well, there's always next time hopefully.

Pretty awesome that you are willing to giveaway both hardware and games, Annisman*.

Amen to that. Still, this has been fun to watch, thanks for the entertainment 🙂

I can't say THANK YOU enough Annisman!!

Still feeling a bit dumbfounded by your generosity, Annisman. Thank you again for doing this and hoping it comes back to you in some fashion, whatever it may be. ^_^

I need to get mine installed but with the holiday and family coming in, I've been semi-busy running around. Hopefully later today i'll get more time if the kids stop hanging off my ankles!

You know... For the kids.

I would be concerned with electrostatic discharge...if I don't have an anti static bag I would wrap with some paper first (old newspaper works).

I don't actually know what the chances of it happening are with bubble wrap, but in my experience plastic can hold a pretty good charge (especially regular plastic wrap).

Looks like all is well though...so I'm probably just paranoid.

Tell that to Nvidia I guess, as that bubble wrap bag was used to ship my gtx 650ti earlier in the month. :awe:

It's anti-static bubble I believe, unless the sticker on it lied to me.

Anyway, decided to just toss it in there now:

As you can see, my helper was there to supervise. 😀

EDIT: I need to get a couple of different cables before I can try screens 3 and 4 though. I had 2x MiniDP to VGA's for the ATI/AMD card but don't have the proper connectors for the GTX670 to hook up.

Since I'm so nice, I'd be willing to recycle that piece of junk 6950 for you free of charge. 😀

I'm holding out for now, I want to be sure this card can handle what I need on 4 screens AND be able to game decent before I let it go. 😉
