Anne Hathaway as Catwoman from "Dark Knight Rises"

I'd like to think Mila Kunis could pull it off. She seems to do a decent job transitioning from passive to aggressive and really looks the part.

Mila seems too young to me to play Catwoman (so does Anne Hathaway for that matter). I don't know what backstory they're using for her, but it seems like she should be in her mid-30s, not her mid-20s. I agree that she would have the range, I just can't get past the age thing.

Best catwoman ever.

I really liked the Dark Knight...easily one of the best comic book character movies made today. But I still prefer Batman and Batman Returns. That is the setting I vision Batman in...not in present day Chicago.

agree with all of this (though there are a handful of superhero flicks I put above TDK.)

Yeah I agree that there are better super hero flix. My personal favorite has to be the Watchmen (directors cut). Yeah they changed the ending from the comic book, and that sex scene with Silk Spectre II and Night Owl was ridiculously lame, but the rest of the movie was excellent. Snyder did a fantastic job given the fact that he had to cram the whole comic book into one movie.
 
michelle pfeiffer is the best cat woman ever. halle did a good job, but she didnt have the evil nonchalant personality that pfeiffer brought to the character. id like to see milla give it a shot. shes 3rd on my list of "holy crap id give an eye for a date" chicks. michelle pfeiffer and rachael leigh cook are the top 2.

I agree, she is supposed to be a bit of a "cougar" in her mind set. Part of the appeal was that she played with batman's desires, but always pushed him away. Needs a bit of maturity. Theron could certainly pull it off.

Although, we've never met her, I bet Moshquerade could be ATOT's resident catwoman 😉

agreed, she looks goofy. also that other angle has to be a double, look at the hair length. hathaway's hair is significantly longer.

Milla Jovovich would have killed that role. Seems like a waste hiring Hathaway to do the job.

The sex scene was in the comic and it has a meaning behind it. You need to tie it to the previous time the two tried to copulate and found that he really needed help from a "blue pill" ( 😉 ). The sex scene occurred after the apartment building rescue, and it essentially showed that they're more human/complete as their superhero counterparts.

As for the rest of the movie, I still dislike how they handled Dr. Manhattan in that movie. He's my favorite part about the comics, and they ruined him. :colbert:
 
watchmen was possibly the worst thing i've ever seen.

we need to pass laws seperating comic books from films. then people who want movies that feature a tiny blue penis as a leading character won't spoil cinema for the rest of us.
 
I'll trust Nolan on this one. He hasn't let me down yet as far as casting is concerned.
I think Hathaway will own it. This production doesn't pick people "just because."
