Anne Hathaway as Catwoman from "Dark Knight Rises"

Maybe Helena Bonham-Carter? She's not that hot, but she can definitely play the crazy female villain role.

Too batshit crazy...

Marion Cotillard (sp?) would be good, except I forget how well she hid her French accent in 'Public Enemies'. Think she has a role in the Batman though already.

I wouldn't mind ogling Jessica Biel in leather for two hours.

I can picture what's her face... Kill Bill chick Uma doing it VERY WELL.

Too bad she's too old by hollywood standards.

I also question the goggles. On the other hand, a mask would just be stupid looking.

I was expecting goggles more like the what you see in Arkham City. Doesn't have to be a mask per se and a hood with cat ears but the goggles on Hathaway look like a step removed from a cheap pair of night-vision goggles.

THAT is terrible. She just looks like a cute cosplay, complete with eyeliners. That looks like she just got out of a furcon and is looking for fun.

Anne Hathaway makes my dark knight rise but I'll agree I have kind of a hard time seeing her in the role of a badass. Then again, isn't Selina Kyle kind of like a crazy exgirlfriend stereotype complete with self esteem problems and an unpredictable propensity for violence? I'm not sure if a tough chick is an exact fit for that character anyway. I thought fuck no for Health Ledger as the joker so we'll see.

everyone said Heath Ledger would be a terrible joker, too. that one seemed to turn out okay. way too early to dismiss her in the role.

Isn't the character someone who starts out as a goody two-shoes doormat before getting killed vamps her out? Anne Hathaway fills the first part of the bill... don't know if she can pull off "badass" though. Especially in that outfit... What the hell is that supposed to be?

My immediate thought for the role would be Eliza Dushku, but I doubt she could be the shy doormat type at the beginning of the story. Apparently she's already playing Catwoman for some new cartoon? Go figure.

Ohh Eliza Dushku would be interesting or maybe Elisha Cuthbert (I always get those names mixed up). I don't think it's very hard to make a character look like a doormat though. I mean, in essence... being a doormat is stereotypically shown by "geekier attire" combined with everyone treating you like some slave with you succumbing to it every time. In essence, it's defined more by everyone's actions involving you than how you act.

Oh my! 😱

Whenever I think of Biel, I think of the clothes changing scene from Chuck & Larry. I think it made that movie worth watching... or at least seeing that part on YouTube. :$

How about Eva Green?

I looked her up on IMDB, and maybe the photos aren't flattering or some thing, but I wasn't really digging it. Not that I'm saying she's ugly or anything. 😛

I can't help but think it'd be cool to see Natalie Portman in a darker role, well that's presuming it is darker. She's definitely got the acting chops, at least relative to most of her peers.

Theron would be another good choice.

Well Ledger also had some critical acclaim under his belt already and had done some more serious movies when he was picked for Dark Knight.

Hathaway on the other hand I don't think has had much, if any, of that. Honestly I'm not sure why they would tap her for the role.

But I guess it does depend on what kind of a villianess she's supposed to be. Hell maybe she's a devious ditz.

She was nominated for Rachel Getting Married and she has put in decent performances in a few films (I thought she was good in Love and Other Drugs).

Edit: I also thought she was super hot in Get Smart, even though the movie itself was quite terrible.
