I'm sure the stress of being the president, and how it will affect their family, weighed heavily on Michelle's mind:

So is that a condendemnation of the premise of the thread and therefore a vindication of Ann Romney or do you find it "shocking" that Michelle does too?

My opinion is that both women are right to worry about their husbands being in what has to be a stressful job.

OP, are you going to weigh in against the current First Lady or is she exempt?

I would worry about the mental stability of somebody like Romney who is a pathological liar. He has stretched the rubber band so far from reality that a rebound might hit light speed and destroy anybody around him out th 10 kilometers.
