There's nothing 'faux' about outrage over blatant racism being made a major party policy.
So let me get this straight. You're saying that birthers are racists, and that birthers are now a major GOP party policy, therefore racism is now a major party policy of the GOP?

When - since 1964 - wasn't it?
So what's this got to do with Birthers? They just showed up last year...

That the birthers are just the same old Southern racism. They didn't question the citizenship of the white candidate, did they? Even though he was born in Panama?

What can be said? The only policy that the Pubs have been consistent on is nativism -- in a country full of immigrants. Every other policy -- including and especially their phony claims of libertarianism -- they have completely abandoned.

As usual, Vic talking out his ass.

Nevermind, manowar821, I'll answer it for you - you offered a nitwit aside....

Everything I say has a point, and my posts are never solely for my own amusement, even though it does play a role! ;D

The point in my original post was that you cannot expect people to respond nicely or even on topic if you use partisan or asinine sound bites. That type of thing is designed to stir up an automated response. We're fed those words and sound bites, and then fed the response to said subject. It's a divide and conquer tactic, and a large portion of the population falls for it.

Were you stating I appear as a coward moran in this thread alone, or in the forum as a whole? Just curious!

this whole birthers thing is really starting to get on my last nerve.

i wish all these white trash fucks who honestly believe that obama's not an american-born citizen would take a leap off a bridge.

and to all those who say that obama should just show his birth certificate, go fuck yourself. no president has ever had to before and shouldn't have to. there's waaaaay more than enough proof that obama was born in hawaii. i don't even understand why the hell people are bleeding over this still.

- a birth certificate with a raised notary seal isn't enough
- the republican governor of hawaii saying that obama was born in hawaii with 100% certainty isn't enough
- a birth announcement in the news paper isn't enough
- COMMON SENSE isn't enough (obama's 19 year old mom somehow decided to up and leave hawaii and take a boat, because commercial plane travel wasn't exactly a big thing yet, to frigging kenya, pop out a baby, notify the newspapers in hawaii, then come all the way back to hawaii, all while keeping it a ridiculously well-kept, elaborate, and huge secret... for NO reason whatsoever other than to dupe the american people a few decades later?)

what the hell would it take? it's not like you have ANY evidence to support this bullshit claim.
if there are any birthers here, i honestly invite you to please stfu and get a goddamn clue.

The fact that the main stream media keeps publishing on the story keeps the issue in the spot light as a distraction to hurt the conservative cause. The same could be said about the "hate" towards Palin or the Gates issue. While I think those issues are fun to "bicker over" they definitely are a distraction from real issues and should be treated as side shows for entertainment and not "real issues".

If it was just some Idiot making statements from his/her Bunker in the mountains of Montana, then you'd be right. It isn't though, it's Court Challenges, people brining it up(to cheers no less) to Elected Officials at Public Meetings, and the Faux News channel harping on it. To not Report on it is not in the Public Interest.

WTF is your point? Birthers are at the fringe of the GOP just like truthers were at the fringe of the dems.

i think truthers are on both sides, they just blame different conspiracies.

Yep. Truthers are largely nonpartisan but the ones who are are split between dems and Ron Paul supporters. Birthers on the other hand are pretty much entirely a republican phenomenon.

How many have died since Bammy took the oath?

Thats on his watch I do believe.....

Who started the fsking war? It's on his ass, I KNOW. :|

After all he has promised we are still in Iraq, Gitmo is still open and hes even adopted some nifty Bush policies about detainees now hasn't he?

At least you acknowledge that they're your thankfully EX-Traitor In Chief's policies.

And anyone who complains about the "deficit spending" of PAST administrations with the drunken spending spree the Democtas are on?!?!?

We were already on the hook for the trillions of dollars squandered in the Bushwhackos' war of lies and the trillions more they cost us by abandoning all oversight of their wealthy Wall Street robber barons as they raped our economy. You're just bitching about how Obama is addressing the problems they left us.

OMG the douchebaggery lol....

You can laugh about "douchebaggery." If you want to get less colloquial and more precise, what the Bushwhackos did is callled criminality. I think we should keep Guantanamo open to imprison them when they're tried and convicted for their crimes, including treason, murder, torture, war crimes, crimes against humanity and war profiteering. :|

Talking point #1 Blame the Media. Not a way to promote taking responsibility but I'll move on.

The reason this is still getting play is the GOP in congress sucking the ass off the birthers and introducing legislation thereby condoning their idiocy.

Ann Coulter, one of the heroes of the "rightwing" has said that the "birthers" are cranks and the mindless folly of Obama's birth certificate is a non-issue...

Did I clear that up for you, blackangst1?

Yeah I got that, but...Im not getting what the point of your post is? The overwhelming majority of GOP thinks the whole birth cert issue is a NON issue.....

Would that be the part that believes that the party needs to be "purified" of those that don't follow the party line?

/as I alluded to, Frankenstein's monster has come home to roost...
//but I'm really interested in what those who believe the birth certificate is an issue have to say about her attacking them...
///so if it doesn't apply to you, then fine...

You mean the MINORITY? /roll eyes

Shall we post some interesting wack nut ideas the minority on your side believes and purpetuate they are in fact truth? WTF is wrong with you?

Obama during the election said McCains citizenship is a non issue and he is a citizen. Perhaps a leader in the GOP needs to go on Meet the Press and Fox News Sunday to do the same.

And McCain said it was a non issue. Who cares? There was still a movement on the democrat side pushing the non-validity of McCain as a candidate....Im not saying its right, Im just saying wack nuts live on both sides of the politcal spectrum, and doing what the OP is doing (implying its a reflection of the right) is trollish and flame bait at best.

Difference is no Dems introduced legislation in congress to placate the wingnuts.
