It's been 8 weeks since I sprained my ankle and I still have some tightness and pain a couple times a day when I twist wrong. I didn't get PT originally because I figured it would heal fine on it's own. When I sprained it once before, it was pretty much back to normal after about 4 weeks. But then again, I am 10 years older now.
Should I just give it more time to completely heal, should I call my doc and get a referral for physical therapy, or should I just look up some exercises on the net and start doing them on my own. I want to start playing volleyball again, but I'm worried about reinjuring it since the tendons still feel tight.
Yes, I know asking for medical advice on an internet forum is a gamble.
