well ,, i had a look at some benchmarks for the GF Ti 4400 and the radeon 9500 pro ,, and i've noticed that radeon 9500 pro has anisotropic filtering capability in both api's dirct3d and open gl ,, but the GF 4 Ti4400 has the anisotropic filtering option in the drect3d tap only in the display settings ,,, so i need an answer ,,

Does the GF4 TI 4400 have anisotropic filtering in direct 3d or it's only in open gl and if it has it in direct3d how can i control the level of anisotropic filtering in the display setting menu

thanks in advance ,,

ps : the GF 4 Ti 4400 was very disappointing with anisotropic filtering +4x FSAA enabled in the benchmarks found on www.tomshardware.com and www.anandtech.com the radeon 9500 pro smoked the Ti 4400 due to something called adaptive techniques used in anisotropic filtering ,,,, daamn i've payed alot of money ,, i could've got the radeon 9500 pro for less ,, shame on nvidia,,they tricked us with their reputaion ,,

ohhh,, can nvidia fix this poor performance by using the adaptive techniques in anisotropic filtering by developing new drivers or this has only to do with pure hardware archeticture ??? please make things clear for me ,,

i live in egypt ,, and i bought this card from the usa ,, there is no way back ,,,

thanks in advance :(

The latest drivers (40.xx) should have AF in the direct 3D section. Older drivers did support it, but didnt have a slider to set it, had to use 3rd party programs AFAIK.
