Bleach, Gundam Seed Destiny, Cowboy Bebop (see below post), Gunslinger Girls, RahXephon, Elfen Lied, Full Metal Alchemist, NGE, Berserk, X; they're just a few that are as good, if not better than Naruto, and are a bit more adult. These are also more of the mainstream animes. Eventually, you'll broaden and find less-common, but even better animes.

if you like champloo you might enjoy cowboy bebop. other than that though i don't know because i've never watched naruto and saw maybe 6 eps of champloo
