Before I spoil anything, have you seen eps #27-30 of Wolf's Rain? More happens in those 4 episodes then the previous 20.

No, I haven't. Wolf's Rain didn't grab my interest. It was my understanding that Wolf's Rain had a 'traditional Japanese ending' though.
