don't worry i didn't get it either. Nor will I EVER watch that movie again.
 
Some of the google sites are by anime geeks for anime geeks and are they are over my head. I just want a simple deal, once I am oriented to what is going on, I can figure out the rest.
 
There are special people. Special people found Tetsuo. Special people gave Tetsuo special powers. Special Tetsuo could not control his given powers (too strong) thus he wreaked havoc in Neo Tokyo. End of story.
 
The story begins well before the movie, and ends well after. Keep that in mind, that this is ONLY the story of Tetsuo, and it should start making sense.
