Just finished the vid:

1.) Awesome.
2.) I could see this being played in a gallery somewhere
3.) It took me forever to figure out what the music was, lol...I'm so ashamed of myself.

Very impressive hub. 300 acres next to the Memphis airport with 150-160 FedEx planes arriving at around 10:30 every night with packages to sort.

I wonder if anyone has ever like, robbed a fedex hub. Doesn't need to be a big one, but the amount of goods there must be huge for just any single day and they don't have that much security. I guess it would take a bit more planning then robbing a liquer store and then you gotta turn the goods into money.

Yes, the Memphis hub is very busy.

I'm pretty sure I read that FedEx ordered 10 of the 380's, could be wrong though.

Yep, 3 by the end of 2008, 3 more in 2009, 3 more in 2010, and 1 more in 2011. They have an option for 10 more.

That is AWESOME. They're like little ants... so cute, but it's astonishing to think of all those planes and all the cargo they're carrying every day.

I can't watch that. It's disgusting, because of the ant hill allusions. Feels like they're crawling all over my skin when I watch that.

Are those all FedEx-owned planes, or do they pay airlines to carry some of their packages?

Narcotics?

...I guess it makes sense for dealers to use air freight if they can seal it well enough.

Not illegal narcotics, they mean drugs on their way to pharmacies.

Every one should be Fed-up, they even have a contract with the post office to carry mail.

Memphis also has a large UPS hub. Don't know if the number are still true, but Memphis international is the worlds largest cargo airport.
