Animals with beer preferences

As the title suggests, I have cats that appear to be partial to fosters. I German imports (since I live in Germany), Corona, Bud, Coors, but these guys only gravitiate to Fosters. I think that is awesome as it's my favorite beer 😉

So ATOT, do your animals seem to be partial to a brand of beer?

And for the PETA folks our there, my cats are licking the rim of the can/bottle. Nothing more.

I once fed a friend's dog a small glass of whisky. Not sure if he liked it though.

lol, if this were a poll you'd fail. Allow me to emphasize the word "like" 🙂

Some people I knew had a beagle named "Barley" of all names. He was a Coors light junkie. He recognized the bottle and would sit at your feet and growl until you poored some out for the hairy little homey. He would pass by Bud Light drinkers or other beers. He only zeroed in on Coors.

lol, that's beyond cool

I used to have a dog that was a beer fiend. She'd drink anything from Coors Light to various stouts. If you put down a glass and walked away she'd jump onto whatever furniture was nearby to get at it. Current pooch has no interest, beer is one of the few things she doesn't like.

some of my friends were watching and old dog of mine once and he wouldnt shut up...so they gave him a small amount of vodka...they said he stumbled then fell asleep...w00t!

Our cat loves beer - any kind, it doesn't matter. You have to keep an eye on your bottle/can or else he'll start licking away.

what about energy drinks? will cats get energized for 24 hours?

it's kinda awkwardly because my cats stay up when i'm sleeping and they sleep when i'm awake.
