Animal Control is on the way to take my dog and put her down...

You mentioned she had been boarded recently?? Maybe she caught something there? Ask a vet if there's anything contagious that would cause those symptoms that your dog could have picked up while it was boarded. Did the place require that your dog have all its shots before it was boarded, and have the paperwork on hand to prove so? If not, I would never board my own animals in such a place... Or, on the other hand, could your dog be having a reaction to shots it received prior to being boarded? (borditello?)

Sorry to hear about your dog though 🙁

If she attacked you she needs to be held for 10 days at least to see if you might need some treatment (Rabies?).

Aww, so sad. Sometimes animals do snap, thank goodness no one got hurt. No one wants to imagine the posts of devastation of an attack on you, or God forbid if you have small children..

Coincidence that it was part pitbull?

and so it begins.....

pull your head outta your ass ANY dog can have a siezure, brain anuerism, whatever, it doesnt just affect pitbulls.

We had a mixed golden lab named Casey that had Cushings. One morning my wife woke me up upset that she was foaming at the mouth and panting. My wife ran downstairs to call the emergency vet while I went in to get her and carry her downstairs to take her there. She died in my arms on the bathroom floor before I could lift her. 🙁

I think you should kill the dog yourself...a very liberating experience. One shot...one kill. Then you could tan the hide and make a g-string for your fiance.

I am requesting a ban for this noob. :disgust:

Did you bother to read the post? After the seizure, he was attacked.

She spasm'd all over, rolled eyes back, and began foaming at the mouth. After about 2 minutes she stopped and just laid there. After about 1 minute of that she snapped out of it and attacked me.

He doesn't exactly know what triggered the seizure. It could have been natural casues, or it could be sue to rabies, etc. Regardless, he was attacked by a strangly acting pet, and if any skin was broken, he should be cautious.

Guys, it is a moot point. Dogs with siezures, brain damage, parvovirus, they all can attack anything. I've witnessed the gentlest family dog go bonkers and try to bite anyone and anything.
That barking at nothing, it reminds me of the two dogs I have seen and put down with parvo. So very sad, and nothing to do with the breed, and nothing you can do about it🙁
My condolences again, OP. Is your dog taken care of now?
