anybody think the fight scenes in andromeda are funny? the main characters just stand in the open firing and somehow the "bad guys" NEVER even touch them. i mean sure heores aren' tsupposed to get killed but come on they don't even attempt to dodge sometimes!

I watched it when it started and I thought the concept was good. The show had a decent premise. I stopped watching for a long time but I just saw an episode a few weeks ago and I have no idea what's going on. That purple girl changed her color? It didn't sound like he was trying to restore that Commonwealth either.

haven't been watching every episode but i think here's whats going on:

purple girl switched with her future golden self

commonwealth is restored i think and now theya re prepareing for a giant solar system sized magog "worldship"

Oh yeah I vaguely remember that giant Magog ship.

Ya know, if the Commonwealth is restored, or at the very least he convinced a few planets to form a new one, you would think he would take time to train some new soldiers to help staff that big ship instead of relying on a handful of misfits he bumped into. If anything the captain could just make them his new officers. Maybe they writers are just afraid to take the show in a new direction. Although I guess it would just start to look like Star Trek after that.

i think andromeda has some crew now... u dont see them often but i think there are some

I like that show.. it's not perfect (i.e. fight scenes a cross between Batman and the A-Team), but it's got some good concepts and plot development. It's entertaining, and Lexa Doig is a big-time hottie. Every once in a while I see some random crewmembers, but they need to be more consistent with it; it appears there's no interaction between Dylan and the rest of the crew other than the main cast.

I concur. The show is okay. I watch it at night (well, the morning, it is on a 2 AM here in NY). It's got a decent idea, but I do agree with the original poster, they don't even dodge the shots anymore.

I thought the beginning plot was good. I haven't really kept up with it thanks for the update guys.

I do wonder when Tyr will reunite with his son the reincarnation of Drago whateverhislastnameis, that seems like the most interesting plot line.

yep, this week's episode tyr's supposed to claim himself as the leader of the nicheanztchen(sp) people. should be interesting
