Anyone have opinions about this? I watched the first season and liked it. Felt it was becoming Hercules in space with Kevin Sorbo. How did things turn out? Is it worth watching it over?
 
I have the DVD box set.

I :heart: Andromeda, until Season 4/5. Seasons 1, 2, and 3 are great, but Season 4/5 were directed by a new guy and the quality dropped.

It's worth a watch from Netflix at minimum 🙂
 
Seasons 1-2 were quite good, in fact the season 1 finale is one of the darkest, best scifi TV episodes I've ever seen. Unfortunately there was a personnel change and things went all to hell in season 3 - episode quality plunged and the plots got ridiculous (at one point Tyr was involved with "the most beautiful woman in the galaxy"). I stopped watching at that point so I don't know what happened after that.

If there is no other reason for watching, Lexa Doig is super hot. Especially in the leather/pleather black and blue outfit. Totally want to bang her. Mmmmm

Trust me I know.... If only he wasn't Daniel Jackson and such a good actor, I would hate him....

Shanks is badass, and Lexa is a hot ass chick. I wish I was Shanks lol. He is one lucky ass dude. lol
 
It was pretty good till it became a scifi show. Not sure what they hell they were thinking with the changes then.

Blue Trance with a tail was a hottie!
 
Season 5 with the whole 'seefra' and paradine plight was just... strange.. and didnt really add much to the show IMO.

I think they did it because they weren't sure the show would end with the end of season 4, so it felt just tacked on, much like the 5th season of Babylon 5. It does, however, sort of pick up toward the end (the first few episodes are barely watchable).
