Anyone who thinks of comparing this to the iPad which is MUCH more expensive is going to be disappointed cus umm it's only $150 and can't expect much quality at that price. waiting for reviews though before making and concrete judgment on it.

I would get one.
I heard rumours that Kmart reps are telling people that they expect to have them the 29th.

I suspect it has a resistive instead of capacitive screen for that price.

And yeah, Android tablets are going to take over the world, seriously... Dunno about this one though.

It's not really about this particular one though. I'm glad there's a manufacturer willing to stick their neck out and test waters in the ultra-cheap tablet market. I hope they are successful, so others come along and improve on it and we get a healthy selection in many price ranges. I sure as hell don't want to leave Apple in charge of it.

Not that I have any need for something like that, but at that price I'd buy one just to play around with.

I don't think they'll be any comparison to the iPad yet, but when Google gets serious about tablettablets and some quality hardware drops things could get interesting. At least the price is right for now.

Yep. I wouldn't mind this as strictly a Gmote server for when I'm chilling in bed. For $150, I'm damn sure going to try it.

If a customizable desktop with widgets and multiple homescreens is 1995, what year is the iPad stuck in? Because it doesn't have widgets or homsecreens, just a scrollable list of apps with a background.

The icons look frighteningly similar

And this is why Apple is so successful. People want stuff that looks sleek out of the box.

I'm still trying to figure out when it became un-PC to use 'you people'. Then again almost anything describing a group of people is probably not PC anymore.
