Gotten addicted to a cell phone, mad addicted.
Rooted my Droid, tried out the Sholes.info ROM, currently using Bugless Beast. Overclocked to 950mhz (could go 1ghz, some ROMs have kernels that offer even higher OCs, no need to push it insane imho).
Ooooo.
Problem? Well, just like I did with my Samsung Omnia... once I enter into this software modding game, there's no turning back. Never fulfilled, always wanting the latest new things.
Didn't get into it until now because I wanted to wait until the developers were releasing more mature and stable ROMs. Rely a lot on my phone now that I bow down to Google, so I wanted to keep the phone reliable.
This is both glorious and painstaking. Now that all the little things I've ever wanted to have done CAN be done (in progress: getting all widgets to have the exact same look. Might take awhile), there's definitely no going back.
Anyone else share this love/hate relationship with modding addiction?
