MortPlayer is awesome if you're folder-based. Otherwise, buy PowerAmp.
Thanks for the tip! I like the aesthetics of Apollo more but I've been looking for a folder-based music player and audiobook program.

No Composer field support = useless for classical listeners.Player Pro does everything PowerAmp does but does it better imho.

+1 for Apollo, I just started using it and I'm liking it a lot. I don't really mind the google music app either but I haven't used it that much. I'm gonna have to check out ubermusic, I liked the zune music app a lot.
It seems to have a better interface, but my priority is sound quality and a good EQ and in that aspect PowerAmp trounces the pants off of Player Pro from what I've seen. Everybody's ears are different and everybody needs/wants to EQ things differently, but for the punchy low end I want it's the best I've tried.
All of this is possible with one setting though... Direct Volume Control. I'm not sure if other players have it, but in PowerAmp you have to go to settings>audio>advanced tweaks and toggle DVC on. With this off it sounds like just another generic phone player that can't reach the lows I want. If you haven't tried PowerAmp with DVC then you haven't tried PowerAmp.
Player Pro is my favorite. Mostly because of the feature that lets my navigate between tracks using the volume buttons (and still controlling volume with longer holds). Not sure why I haven't seen this feature in other music players.
Yeah, but PowerAMP is payware, and the widgets suck.
Wait did you have to enable this? On mine it doesn't do this, I looked at the setting and see nothing about it, but maybe I'm just blind.
