Android keyboard with number row?

All my passwords are mixes of numbers and letters with frequent mixing and while it takes just two fingers and a split second to type them on a hardware keyboard, it takes forever and its not accurate on an on screen keyboard.

Any options for a number row and preferably swype?

SlideIT, but only in tablet mode.
Thumb Keyboard, but only in some of the layouts.

Phone or tablet? Its not easy fitting a dedicated number row in a phone-sized keyboard.

All of the keyboards I've used allow you to input numbers without a modifier (shift, etc) by simply long-pressing the top row of keys.

So for a password of abc123 on Swype, the input would be "abc + long press q + long press w + long press e"...

It's for my Samsung Captivate. I had absolutely no problems with my Samsung Epic 4G and its hardware keyboard, but this virtual keyboard crap is dragging me to a standstill, especially for apps like Chase Bank which refuse to remember passwords, for good reason.

Definitely Thumb Keyboard for tablets. I don't know of any keyboards for phones that have dedicated numberpad.

With the recent versions of the Swype beta you can bring up a 10-key number pad by just holding down one of the buttons. Great for entering lots of numbers at once, not as useful for mixing numbers and letters but if you're doing that then long pressing the letter keys on the top row should work fine.

You'll get used to it.

With SlideIT you can change how long it takes to activate long press. Nice option to have.
obviously it doesn't make sense to make it too short because you'd be mistyping numbers a lot.

the true solution is to offer the option of a 5 row keyboard with a number row. there really isn't another alternative.

Take a look at the Touchpad keyboard. It's amazingly made. Probably the best tablet keyboard out there. The iPad 2 is a huge step down, with Android being rock bottom in keyboard usefulness.
