I want to keep my screen on so I can talk to my phone and "OK Google" while I'm driving and its connected to my car's bluetooth. I have searched and am very surprised that I can't find an easy way to do this.

If I had a Moto X, this wouldn't be a problem, because I can talk to it while the screen is black. Also, I do have the option of using NFC tags for this, but I thought it would be more simple than that...its a basic IFTTT, but I can't get IFTTT to do it!

If connected to bluetooth, screen stays awake.

Anyone? Thanks!

Did you find out about Tasker? It sounds like something Tasker would be equipped to do.

Yes, I was looking into Tasker but I couldn't confirm that it did this. However, now that I'm looking into it again, I think I can confirm that it will solve my problem. Thanks!

Do you charge your phone in the car? "OK Google" also works with screen off but charging.

I do charge in the car but not every time. I am looking for ubiquitous use. But that is nice...if I had some type of wireless charge pad in my car that would be awesome. Hmm, thats an idea.

But I think Tasker can solve this problem for me. I didn't want to have to pay for it to find out, but I'm pretty sure after looking at the description, that it will.

Thanks folks.
