2.1 definitely works.I think Angry Birds is only available for 2.2
Hmm I don't see it at all in the market.
Tried out Angry Birds on my HTC Hero and it did not turn out too well. Levels took forever to load, gameplay was jittery, and it seems like the graphics were not displaying properly. The stage texture for the sling shot was all white.
Oh well, I'll just play it on my iPad.![]()
There's definitely something wrong with your phone or AB installation. It works flawlessly on my Droid X.
No there's nothing wrong. The phone just severely lacks in the performance department.
EDIT: A quick Google search shows that others are having the same issues:

has anyone here tried it on a G1? could be the older gpu is having issues...
I rarely play games on my phone, but Angry Birds is pretty cool.
I'd play them a lot more if I was somewhere I just wanted to waste time, and could use my phone. Unfortunately, there is a zero-tolerance no-phone rule at work.. so I read.. a lot. Already blew through two novels, working on Under The Dome right now. Thankfully, it's quite a bit thicker than the last two books.
Where do you work that they allow you to read books but not look at a phone (or presumably other electronic devices)? What about e-Readers?![]()

Birds. Angry fucking birds.
Analysis: Coming off of a full charge on a rooted stock Evo, battery will last about 6 1/2 hours of non stop birds until the 15% low batt warning shows![]()
