Android device that can handle PPSSPP?

Any recommendations for an ~$100 android phone that can handle PSP emulators? The idea is to put together a couple of inexpensive toys to keep the nephews entertained when they visit.

I have a generic tablet with a cortex-A8 SoC and 1GB RAM which handles GB emulators just fine, but renders PSP games (NFS-Most Wanted, NBA live 06) on PPSSPP in stop motion. A device that can render these two games smoothly is what I'm looking for.
