As always, people are complaining with it not working or other features. I think its great. I tested fr Chrome on N7 and it rang my N4. I showed to my wife, and she was amazed, she always manages to misplace her iPhone on vibrate. She read through the mini MotoX review, will likely be her next phone.

Have you enabled Find My iPhone, the feature that's been on iOS for literally, years?

Yea. It will ring the phone, lock it, that kind of thing. With iOS 7, they have a new feature that if your phone is stolen and you lock it through Find My iPhone, then only YOU can activate the device. Even if completely wiped and restored, it will require your Apple ID to activate the device.

I was just saying, your wife was amazed, but this feature has been around for quite some time on iOS. It was even on WinPho7 at launch (or very nearly).

Didn't know! Thanks, she still in awe with some of the features of the MotoX and the ability to change icons and widgets.

Found and rang my Nook HD+, but at first my Note 2 wasn't showing up. Now it's working with that too.

Not really (unless you've disabled the location reporting in google settings).

The only this you need to set out of the box is the wipe my phone stuff.

That was already done, back when I first got the phone. Any other ideas? EDIT: I figured it out. Wifi had to be on, and that sucks! I almost never have wifi on.

I don't disagree but for all the Android MFG, the setting for this is different. I think the absolute place is inside Security.

They are Web apps, you have a link.

There is no direct link like there is for Drive, Play, News, etc... I have to manually type in the address every time I want to use it.

where do you see the app for Device Manager? and it should be easily accessible via a browser, just like Find My Phone in I cloud or the Windows Phone version.

I'm talking about accessing the map to find your lost or missing devices. To find something for Apple devices I just go to iCloud. For Windows Phones, I just go to Windowsphone.com and click on 'Find my Phone'. That takes me to a map. Why doesn't Google have something similar?
