I think the softest one is the Droid X2, given the rumor that its just a rehashed X with a 2GB SD card. Have to see how that one plays out. Honestly, I am somewhat underwhelmed by this line up. The TB, Inc2, and Revolution are using the same single core 2nd Gen Snapdragon, same with the Sony Xperia. The Samsung is rehashing the same 1Ghz Hummingbird again. The only one really stands out is the Bionic. At least, the Xperia ships with Android 2.3, but it'll probably stay on 2.3 for its entire life span.

HTC Thunderbolt

Highlights of the Thunderbolt include:

* Android 2.2

* 16 GB internal storage, 512 MB RAM

What made moto move towards a locked bootloader after the success of the original droid?

I really wish HTC would do a serious overhaul of their hardware. I enjoy Sense too much to move over to Moto, but they have some very tempting hardware coming out.

They have said that they have always had a policy of locking down their phones and the D1 was an exception for marketing reasons.

Sigh, the bionic would be perfect to me if it had a bit more ram. Well, it'd be even more perfect if it had a full keyboard too, but I know that's just a pipe dream for a big screened phone.

Keyboards just add bulk, id have to agree on the ram though, hopefully sprint announces what they are getting relatively soon, my upgrade is up in like 4-5 months.

Keyboards are much nicer than touchscreens, and I plan on running emulators on my next phone, which makes them even nicer although I'll end up giving that up for a 4.3 inch screen probably.

While I like a good physical keyboard, I've intentionally not slid open the keyboard on my Droid 1 since November. Notice the one thing that's completely absent from everyone's line up of next gen phones? Keyboards. 404. :(

Better get comfortable with a touch screen keyboard guys.

Only thing I would want a slideout keyboard for is games. Something like the Xperia Xplay is right up my alley(At least in form factor). If someone made a super high end device with a slide out game controller buttons I'd buy it.

Once I realized there wouldn't be any more high end phones with keyboards I started using the virtual keyboard on my droid to practice. It's only been a few weeks and I actually prefer the virtual keyboard now.

I've had LG for the past 2 phones, both have had either problems or broke easily. Also, the whole thing with LG seizing the PS3s didn't make me happy either.
Ive never had any problems with LG products.
They are like Panasonic for me.

LG seizing PS3's??? What's that about?
